Searching for relatives

his cousin from Worcester visit Mr. Biggs of Nightingales Bower, Alfrick
on 15th June 1999. American archivist Jay G Burrup visited Suckley and Alfrick
to search for information about ancestors of his relatives and friends who
left this area in the 19th century for the USA after being converted to
the Mormon faith.
Memories of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its connection
with Suckley and Alfrick at some time between 100 and 200 years ago seems
to have been forgotten (or maybe suppressed) by people here.
A relative of Mr. Burrup was probably baptised in the pool at The Bower
shown in the photo below!
